It is hard to write something about one’s self. Here goes nothing.
I am a Eurasian of Portuguese, English, Scottish and Malay heritage. And my extended family are of Chinese and Indian heritage. In recent years, the younger generation have added on to include spouses from the Philippines, Nigeria and Russia. My world is made up of different colours like the rainbow. And like the rainbow I am unique.
I love reading. Books are my weakness. I can spend hours in a bookstore and I always end up buying a book. I have a few favourite authors whose books line my bookshelves at home. They include, crime and mystery authors Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, romance authors Nora Roberts and Julia Quinn and the all famous children’s adventures author Enid Blyton. There are more but those mention here have my vote every time as creators of fun reading.
Written words have a kind of magic. When you read them your mind takes you into a world of fantasy – where words take on the form of images. It is the love of reading that has led me to try my hand in writing short stories and poems.
My humble attempts of writing these short fiction, stories of my childhood, of what is happening now in my life and these poems comes from within me. You may find my stories funny, adventurous or plain boring. But I hope that in some way these stories will take you for a little while away from the drudgery of the present into the pages of imagination. For… In my dreams, I reached out and touched reality

Have you ever read the amazing Diana Gabaldon? Her Outlander series is part adventure, part fantasy, part Scottish history, part romance, part drama, and all brilliant. 🙂 Fantastic series with many devoted fans, from teenagers to seniors. Highly recommended.
