Worry wearies the soul

autumn

I have worry on my mind.
A worry beyond my control.
One I cannot change.
I seek serenity.

In truth I seek God.
He is not on the outside.
Never a spectator.
My worry gets in the way.

God seems intangible.
One minute He’s within.
I hesitate to change.
I lack courage.

I keep on in prayer.
In despair, I pray.
My worry wearies the soul.
I ask for wisdom.

The mind only interfers.
Its worries block God out.
The interlect needs to control.
It hesitates that God exsist.

Listen to your heart.
With each heartbeat,
the soul touches within.
God is within.
