To the heroes that lived.
Monuments to their memories.
Freedom, a high price to pay.
We salute our brave soldiers.
A world full of war memorials.
Tributes to honour the brave.
Patriotic fighters. Loyal.
Protecting their homeland.
Not forgotten, our work heroes.
Firefighters! Search and Rescue!
And many, many more to mention.
Sometimes the unsung heroes.
Tourists are drawn to visit.
Locals too flood to see.
Maybe to honour these heroes.
Or thank God for their bravery.
