(Stonehenge: In 2013, I joined the crowd of visitors and tourists to view these giant stones that have stood majestically tall for centuries.)

This ancient site.
A mystery still locked.
Of myths that surround.
So near, yet to touch!

Folk tales are plentiful.
About these giant stones.
Was it brought here?
A spell cast by Merlin.

Once, free to walk among.
To touch them in awe.
Maybe, they were climbed.
Now, the stones are roped off.

Erosion. Weather elements.
Reason to protect.
To preserve this heritage.
Hence, viewed from a distance.
