When memory begins to be erased

I dream of Autumn, its colours.
Summer didn’t hold my heart.
Winter’s cold, touched my soul.
Will Spring find me where I belong?

I feel that I’ve been misplaced.
Like a parcel with the wrong address.
Return to sender! Undelivered!
Then sent to the next address.

Nothing looks familiar, nothing.
This is not my home. Where am I?
I don’t remember. It hurts to think.
A veil lifts, it hurts to remember.

I search, but I can’t find home.
In my dream, I see my home.
But it’s gone when I awake.
Just a memory left behind.
