The written word, burning

Words let loose. The sting.
Its righteousness rang loud.
Anger rising. And it blew up.
Feeling like a slimy toad! Scum!

Then that moment of darkness.
No light! Only a dark void.
Clawing and gasping.
Bawling! The thread snapped.

The ripping of the heart.
The soul felt its shudder.
Dignity stripped bare.
Embarrased beyond words.

One word echos. Sorry!
Yet, is it enough to heal.
The written word, burning.
The heart bleeds in darkness.
