Should I have kept quiet?

My voice does not bring calm.
It sounds harsh; judgemental.
Puts others on the defensive.
So, writing was a better mode.

I wrote out my complaint.
Voicing out my concern.
Emotions coated the words.
But I was firm in my stand.

Anger and sadness in ink.
A hand not as steady.
My heartbeat pounding.
I stated the facts, as is.

Could I have done it differently?
And not hammered so hard?
Should I have kept quiet?
And not said anything… at all!
