Your life is on a smooth road.
You thank and praise God.
You have been blessed each day.
Your prayers to God are happy.
It’s when you hit that wall,
And all that air gets sucked out.
That’s when it is the hardest,
To keep on worshiping God.
You’re in another’s shoes,
You have fallen into a black hole.
When prayer goes unanswered.
Where is God? Doubt sets in.
A dirty fog starts to bind the heart.
The Devil is having his fun.
Watching you blaming God.
Laughing as you turn from God.
You struggle with prayer each day.
But you continue in obedience.
Even in the darkest moment,
God is with you, He has’nt left you.

I'm a Eurasian of Portuguese, English, Scottish and Malay heritage. And my extended family are of Chinese and Indian heritage. In recent years, the younger generation have added on to include spouses from the Philippines, Nigeria and Russia. My world is made up of different colours like the rainbow. And like the rainbow I am unique.
Reading is my form of relaxation, to escape from the drudgery of daily life and enter into a world of the imagination. It is the love of reading that has led me to try my hand in writing short stories and poems.
I hope that in some way my stories and poems will take you for a little while away from the drudgery of the present into the pages of imagination.

When we are faced with adversity, we get out of control and most likely blame God. Let’s not forget that we own our shares. You should never lose faith in God and prayer is the means to be close to Him. A very significant poem.
