To survive, we will adapt

Bees pollinate. Flowers bloom. – By C.E. Pereira

The world has not stopped.
Flowers bloom, we stay home.
Bees pollinate, nature thrives.
The world survives; continues.

Nature is not in danger here.
Neither the birds, nor fishes.
It is us being infected; dying…
An enemy that cannot be seen.

Did someone invite the devil in?
It is the scream in my head.
Wake up before it is too late.
A deafening silence in our chaos.

A coldness and silence settles.
Mandatory new rules to survive.
Emptiness fills the silent space.
To survive, we will adapt. Defend!
