Our duty to protect

20190124_155230-1

Same old, same old.
The caretakers few.
Then, and now? Worse!
The destroyers many.

The abuse continues.
We are painfully aware.
Our world a victim.
Man’s over Lording, a sin.

Plants keep disappearing.
Cities of concrete jungle.
Water doesn’t come free.
Can we make it right?

Man’s greed is unstopable.
Plundering… Consumption.
Wastefulness… Hunger.
Throwaway… Disposables.

The fall of empires.
Lost civilisation. Vanished!
Extinction of species.
Man’s absolute dominion reigns.

We have forgotten.
This world we share.
To “till and keep”.
Our duty to protect.
