In a dream I walk

Each day in a dream I walk.
The day merges into the next.
Same as yesterday, I’m lost.
Is today yesterday or tomorrow?

I don’t have to go to the office.
No meetings to attend.
No work to clear fast.
No after office parties.

Nowadays time isn’t important.
There are no deadlines to meet.
No urgent breaking news.
No rushing to do the bosses bidding.

Each day merges into the next.
House chores done. Cooking done.
In a dream I walk; a dreamscape.
The day ends. Sleep calls. I dream.

Morning comes. Sunrise.
Yesterday brings today’s dream.
The routine has not changed.
There is no rush. In a dream I walk.
