Its 60th National Day.
Sixty years of independence.
31 August 1957, a day in history.
Independence proclaimed.
Seven chants of Merdeka.
While the Negaraku was sung.
The Union Jack lowered.
The Malayan flag raised.
No more under colonial rule.
We became a free nation.
Another milestone.
16 September 1963.
From Malaya to Malaysia.
Malaysia was born.
May God bless my homeland always.
