At my home: The Nativity and the Christmas tree

At my home: The Nativity scene (still awaiting the coming Saviour) and the Christmas tree (not lighted and lighted up). Two wonderful elves helped me, one named Brian.

Less than ten days of Advent before Christmas arrives for us to continue to prepare our hearts to welcome Jesus.

At my home the Nativity scene is completed with Mary and Joseph; the three Magi from the East; the Angel; the Shepherds and their sheep. The infant Jesus is not present yet. We await his coming.

He is the Saviour, the Divine Messiah, Emmanuel, the Prince of Peace and so many more names.

The gifts have been bought and wrapped.

As I continue with Advent, the anticipation of celebrating Christmas is within reach.

Jesus is Christmas. Shalom to all.

I'm a Eurasian of Portuguese, English, Scottish and Malay heritage. And my extended family are of Chinese and Indian heritage. My world is made up of different colours like the rainbow. And like the rainbow I am unique. Reading is my form of relaxation, to escape from the drudgery of daily life and enter into a world of the imagination. It is the love of reading that has led me to try my hand in writing short stories and poems. I hope that in some way my stories and poems will take you for a little while away from the drudgery of the present into the pages of imagination. To new friends found, I bid you, Welcome. Sincerely, C.E. Pereira
