My luggage of sins

autumn

I came without baggage.
Just a name tag attached.
Each day my luggage grew.
Its weight dragging me down.

I am over whelmed.
So much weight to carry.
No rest from this luggage.
It’s attached to me always.

Envy, jealousy, I name them.
Pride, lust, more to follow.
Greed, vanity, and such.
Into my luggage of sins.

This path I travel on.
Carrying this heavy luggage.
None to blame but me.
Who will forgive, but God.

If God forgives my sins,
why then this heavy luggage.
Sigh…I sin again and again.
And I cannot forgive me.
