We wish upon a shooting star.
Crossing our fingers and toes.
Please, please, let this wish come true.
How many times have we been disappointed?
The child in us has grown up.
We turn to the Father with our requests.
His love and peace will never falter.
His promise to us is forever.
He wants us to share peace with each other.
Do good onto others, make peace with your enemy.
Give a helping hand to those in need.
His peace is an everlasting promise.
Our life is not perfect, we are broken.
But because of God’s love and peace,
We can share of His peace with each other.
How privilege are we to be children of God.
