Dec 18: My somewhere peaceful is Christmas magic

Ornaments and lights on the Christmas tree.

“The more we sweat in peace, the less we bleed in war.”
Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit

May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all. – 2 Thessalonians 3:16

These are few of my favourite things.
A song which lifts my cheerless mood.
It makes me feel warm and happy.
A slow smile emerges, I am somewhere peaceful.

My somewhere peaceful is Christmas magic.
The Christmas tree with its decorations.
Shining on tinsel  and Christmas balls.
The lights on a Christmas tree is magical.

The Nativity: It fits snugly with my small Christmas tree.

I set up the Nativity scene and remember.
Of a story told each Christmas of a baby.
A night that is sung in Christmas Carols.
A Saviour, the Prince of Peace is come.

Of Christmas wreath fixed on doors.
Or the Advent wreath, its four candles.
The smell of cinnamon and baking.
Laughter and chatter, this is home.

Peace in your home, you are blessed.
Christmas is a gift, let’s thank the Father.
I think of shepherds and angels.
The bright star, peace reigned on Earth.

Please continue to share with friends, for the World needs our prayers.
Peace be with you. Amen.
