Love forbidden

autumn

Darkness falls, anticipation rises.
A cloak covers the night.
Secrets shared, a love forbidden.
Hearts caught in a web of deceits.

Lovers stealing precious moments.
Desperate touches, urgent kisses.
They whisper words of love,
Never said in the light of day.

She cries for her lover hidden.
A yearning to wake up together.
Daybreak comes, he is besides her.
A dream, it is just a dream.

The night is their friend.
In shadows he comes to her.
She reaches out in the darkness.
Their arms entwined, passion takes over.

Such a tangle, hearts bleeding.
It hurts, this love forbidden.
If discovered, death awaits.
Yet, they risk all for love.
